Support for Teen Girls
Navigating the social, emotional, and physiological changes of early adolescence can be overwhelming. In this 8-week group, led by Jenna Thomas, girls will find a supportive space to connect with themselves and others while addressing the unique challenges of early teen-hood.
Using an integrative approach that blends art, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral techniques, this group fosters self-expression and peer support. Each week, participants engage in compassionate, judgment-free conversations designed to build confidence and practice healthy coping skills. Topics include:
- Body image
- Relationships and Friendships
- Anxiety
- Social skills
- Self-esteem
- Emotion regulation
- Academic pressure
Open to girls currently in individual therapy and those seeking a supportive first-time experience, this group prioritizes opportunities for young teens to discover their authentic selves.
